Liat’s Home

This was a new apartment bought from a developer. I made changes before and during construction to suit the way I wanted to live, then designed it from beginning to end: the kitchen and bathroom materials, flooring, furniture, lighting, curtains, artwork and accessories.

I designed this home in 2013, while I was being treated for breast cancer. Creating it gave me hope and something bright to look forward to.

Over the years, some of the furnishings have changed. The foundation of the design has lasted. That matters to me: a home should allow you to make small changes as life moves on, without starting again or taking on a major expense.
